As Singapore’s Olympics Network, Mediacorp is the official media network for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (24 Jul – 9 Aug) and will deliver the widest coverage of the world’s largest sporting event across its multiple platforms including Mediacorp’s over-the-top video service, meWATCH, Channel 5 and YouTube.
meWATCH will carry coverage of the sporting action from Tokyo 2020 LIVE and on-demand across 14 dedicated channels.
The Opening and Closing Ceremonies will be shown LIVE on meWATCH and Channel 5.
The following are the sports that will be shown either LIVE or delayed in our daily coverage: Swimming, Diving, Badminton, Table Tennis, Athletics, Football, Taekwondo, Basketball, Boxing, Gymnastics and Volleyball, subject to availability of the coverage.

For the most comprehensive coverage of Tokyo 2020, look no further than meWATCH starting with the Opening Ceremony on 24 Jul. Mediacorp will have LIVE coverage across 14 channels on meWATCH dedicated to Tokyo 2020.

On top of that, you can also get 12 channels of LIVE/near-LIVE wall-to wall programming daily across 14 hours each day, plus Video-on-demand (VOD) of the highlights, thrills & spills, record breaking feats, Team Singapore winning moments and highlights.

Channel 5 will broadcast the Opening Ceremony on 24 July from 7pm to 10pm and the Closing Ceremony 9 August from 9.30pm to 12.30am. You can also catch the daily action from Tokyo 2020 from 25 July to 8 August at these times on Channel 5:

Mediacorp will also produce a daily round-up show “Today At The Games” featuring Team Singapore’s performance at Tokyo 2020 as well as highlights from the Games. The programme will be available on meWATCH and also on Channel 5 daily from 25 July to 8 Aug at 9.30pm.
Viewers can also expect daily news updates on CNA news bulletins and across all of Mediacorp’s news bulletins.
